With 157 catches, Virat Kohli now holds the record for the most number of catches by an Indian outfielder (non-wicketkeeper) in the ODIs. Kohli stands is third in the all-time list behind Mahela Jayawardena (218) and Rickey Ponting
Virat Kohli became the fastest batter and third man to reach 14,000 runs in the ODIs. Kohli reached the milestone in his 287th innings. India’s Sachin Tendulkar was the previous quickest batter to reach 14,000 ODI runs, taking 350 innings.
With 27503 runs, Virat Kohli now stands third on the list of batsmen with most international runs in cricket. Kohli surpassed former Australian captain Ricky Pointing and in only behind Sachin Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkarra.
