Lewis Hamilton bids farewell to Mercedes after six F1 titles and 246 races

Lewis Hamilton raced one last time for Mercedes on Sunday at the season-ending  Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. 

Formula One’s most successful driver and team partnership ending in a cloud of tyre smoke, a radio love-in and a performance worthy of a seven times world champion.

Hamilton is moving to Ferrari for 2025 after 12 years at Mercedes, where he won all but one of his seven career drivers’ championships. It was the most successful partnership between a team and driver in F1 history

Lewis Hamilton won the F1 World championships with Mercedes team in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Lewis Hamilton won 84 F1 races with Mercedes, out of a record career total of 105.

Off the 246 races for Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton managed 153 podium finishes

“I can’t really put in words what I’m feeling at the moment but I think ultimately just gratitude.” Hamilton had said before his final race with Mercedes.
