Asians dominate ICC men’s ODI Team of The Year for 2024

The International Cricket Council has declared its annual ODI team of the year. The team of the year for 2024 comprises of 4 players from Sri Lanka, 3 each from Pakistan and Afghanistan and one from the West Indies. 

India’s lack of international commitments in the 50-over format in 2024 showed as no Indian player was picked for the team. India played just three ODIs in whole of 2024.
