Royal Enfield has launched the new Scram 440 in India – Here are the highlights

The bike is offered in 2 variant – Trail & Force

Trail variant gets spoke wheels & is priced at Rs 2,08,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai)

Force variant gets alloy wheels & is priced at Rs 2,15,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai)

Powered by a 443cc, air & oil-cooled engine – Outputs 25.4PS & 34Nm

Gets a 6-speed transmission with revised gear ratios – Could offer better acceleration & top end

Other than these changes the bike remains the same as the Scram 411

Suspended on a telescopic fork with 190mm suspension travel & a monoshock with 180mm wheel travel

Rolls on a 19-inch front & 17-inch rear alloy or spoke wheels, depending on the variant
