IDFC FIRST Bank credit card changes: These changes will take effect on February 20, 2025. IDFC First Bank has revised the terms and features of its credit card.

These changes will take effect on February 20, 2025.

Changes include revision of the Annual Percentage Rate (APR), fuel fee & surcharge waiver, statement & payment due date, education fee payments, railway lounge access, add-on card fee, card replacement fee, and more.

APR is one of the most prominent features of credit cards that determines the cost you need to pay on the outstanding amount if you do not pay back the total due amount by the due date.

Education fee payments via third-party platforms Payments for education fees done using third-party platforms like CRED, PayTM, Cheq, MobiKwik, and others will be subject to a 1% fee (minimum Rs 249). Fuel fee & surcharge waiver Fuel expenditures beyond Rs 30,000 per statement cycle will be subject to a 1% fee. The maximum amount that the Ashva, Mayura, and FIRST Wealth Credit Cards can waive the fuel surcharge is Rs 300. Annual Percentage Rate (APR) revision The APR range will be revised and the new range will be 8.5% p.a. to 46.2% p.a., while overdue interest rate remains at 47.88% p.a. (Not applicable for FIRST SWYP Credit Card). Railway lounge access It is now necessary to spend at least Rs 20,000 each month to qualify for free railway lounge access.

Add-on card fee With the exception of Ashva, Mayura, and FIRST Private Credit Cards, add-on cards issued on or after February 20, 2025, will have a joining and annual cost of Rs 499 + taxes.

Card replacement fee It is increased to Rs 199 + taxes, except for Metal & Digital Credit Cards.

Image personalisation fee Starting on February 20, 2025, new personalized cards will incur an annual cost of ?499 + taxes.

Things to note Changes do not apply to the FIRST Private Credit Card.

GST at 18% will be applicable on fees, interest, and charges.

Merchant Category Codes (MCCs) will determine applicable charges and rewards.
