Another RuPay credit card has entered the market — this time it is the Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card.

IndusInd Bank has joined hands with Poonawalla Fincorp Limited to introduce this new RuPay credit card . Let's find out what are the unique features of Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card.

Features of Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card i) Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card: Credit card enabled on UPI As it is a RuPay credit card, you can use it in any of the popular Unified Payments Interface (UPI) applications such as Google Pay, BHIM, Paytm, and PhonePe.

Keep in mind that you can only use a RuPay credit card on your UPI app, no other credit cards such as cards powered by Visa or Mastercard cannot be used for transactions through UPI apps.

RuPay credit cards are usually free of cost.

Maintaining the tradition, Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card will also have no joining fee or annual fee, according to a press release by Poonawalla Fincorp.

ii) Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card reward points Another attractive feature is that Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card is reward points . It will be based on what type of transactions you are doing such as online or UPI or offline transactions.

It offers 2.5 reward points on spending every Rs 100 on select e-commerce transactions except for travel, airline, certain merchant categories such as utility bill payments, insurance premium payments, education fees, etc., according to the IndusInd Bank website.

For travel-related bookings, you can get 1 reward point on spending every Rs 100, according to the bank website.

For spending on select merchant categories, you will get 0.5 reward points on transacting Rs 100. Reward points are available on UPI payments and point-of-sale machine (card machine) transactions as well.

You will get 1 reward point on spending every 100 on select e-commerce platforms when you pay through UPI, as per the website.

For swiping the card or using tap and pay on a card machine, you will also get 1 reward point on every 100. Keep in mind that reward points will be limited to the credit limit of the customers.

The credit limit is different for each customer based on their eligibility.

Those who have higher credit limit will be able to spend more, hence they will earn more reward points, Poonawalla Fincorp says.

Further, there will be no rewards for recharging fuel through this card.

The reward points will be valid for 24 months from the points credit card.

You can redeem the reward points for airline miles on InterMiles and Vistara, IndusMoments, cash credit, and pay with rewards, as per the IndusInd Bank website.

If you spend Rs 4 lakh or more in a year from the date of issuance of the card, you will earn 3,000 bonus reward points, the card issuer says.

iii) Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card: 1% fuel surcharge waiver On the Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card, you will get a 1% fuel surcharge waiver on fuel transactions between Rs 400 and Rs 4,000. The offer will be applicable across all fuel stations in India, according to the bank's website.

iv) Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card: Buy one get one movie ticket free There is a buy one get one free option on movie tickets booked through BookMyShow . You can get one free movie ticket in a month and the price of the ticket is capped at Rs 200. If the price of the free ticket is more than Rs 200, you will get a discount of Rs 200 and you have to the remaining amount using Poonawalla Fincorp IndusInd Bank eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card.

RuPay credit cards got a fresh push after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had introduced credit cards on the UPI feature.

Several banks have already launched RuPay credit cards which are UPI enabled.
