Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd launched its first electric scooter, e-Access, at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The company also introduced two other models, including the GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel. Suzuki emphasized its commitment to electric mobility and carbon neutrality. The new introductions aim to expand Suzuki's presence in the Indian two-wheeler market.

Suzuki Motorcycle India unveiled its first electric scooter, the e-Access, along with two other new models at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025 on Friday.

The company also introduced the GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel motorcycle and a new 125cc Access scooter.

It offers a top speed of 71 km/hr and supports two charging options: a portable charger that fully charges the battery in 6 hours and 42 minutes, and a fast charger that completes the process in 2 hours and 12 minutes.

Suzuki GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel sports bike The GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel is a sports bike equipped with a 250 cc BS VI compliant engine that runs on ethanol-blended fuels with up to 85% ethanol concentration.

To support this fuel type, the bike features upgraded components, including a modified injector, fuel pump, and fuel filter.

SMIPL described the model as a step towards fostering a carbon-neutral society in India.

Additionally, Suzuki launched a new Access scooter powered by a 125 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine.

Key features include an LED position light, an LED tail lamp, and a Bluetooth-enabled multi-functional digital instrument cluster.

Suzuki e-Access Expected Price & Launch Date The Suzuki plans to launch e-Access sometime in 2025.

The two-wheeler maker is expected to be price the electric two-wheeler in a price range of Rs 1.20 lakh to Rs 1.40 lakh.

India remains Suzuki’s largest market Speaking at the event, Toshihiro Suzuki, Representative Director and President of Suzuki Motor Corporation, emphasized India’s importance to the company.

Commitment to carbon neutrality Toshihiro Suzuki also highlighted the company’s approach to achieving carbon neutrality.

“At Suzuki Motor Corporation, we are committed to our goal of carbon neutrality through a multi-pathway approach.

While battery electric vehicles play an important role, they are not the only way to carbon neutrality.

We are also focusing on alternative options such as e-fuels, hydrogen engines, bio-fuel models, and better fuel economy in internal combustion engines,” he added.

With these launches, Suzuki Motorcycle India aims to strengthen its presence in the Indian market and contribute to sustainable mobility solutions.
