The Maruti Suzuki Swift has crossed the 30 lakh sales milestone in India. Currently in its fourth generation, which was recently launched, the Swift has achieved this landmark in 19 years since it first went on sale in 2005.

The Swift is powered by a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 82hp and 112Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and an optional AMT. A new CNG powertrain is expected to be introduced later this year.
