IEW 2025: Centre remains committed to ensuring affordable energy, says Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri

The India Energy Week (IEW) is a widely-tracked event aimed at driving global energy innovation and collaboration for a sustainable future. 

India Energy Week 2025: Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri has said that ensuring affordable energy across the country remains the central government's priority, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision that the 21st century belongs to India.

"The target is to meet the country's energy demand," said Puri, speaking at the 2025 edition of the India Energy Week (IEW), a widely-tracked event aimed at driving global energy innovation and collaboration for a sustainable future.

In the inaugural address at the 2025 IEW event, Prime Minister Modi said that "India is not only driving its own growth but also the world’s growth.

Its energy sector has an important role to play in this journey.

The Union Minister also said that the fourth edition of the India Energy Week will take place in Goa.

He also reiterated that the India Energy Week is the second largest energy event globally.

The IEW 2025 event entered its third day on Thursday.

Organised at the Yashobhoomi international convention and expo centre in Dwarka, New Delhi, the IEW 2025 is set to record unparalleled global participation from ministers, CEOs and industry leaders in the country’s crucial energy space.
