2025 Ford Bronco Sport Goes Big with Sasquatch Package
Adventure-ready upgrades for the compact SUV crowd
Performance That Packs a Punch
The Ford Bronco Sport may look like your average compact SUV, but under the hood, it's got serious adventure DNA—especially for 2025. Ford is borrowing the rugged spirit of the full-size Bronco and injecting it into the Sport with the all-new Sasquatch off-road package.
What's in the Sasquatch Package?
Available on the Outer Banks and Badlands trims, the Sasquatch package includes:
- Outer Banks Sasquatch: 180-hp 1.5L turbocharged 3-cylinder
- Badlands Sasquatch: 250-hp 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder
- Torque-vectoring rear differential
- All-terrain tires and recovery hooks
- Trail Control with one-pedal off-road driving
- 360-degree camera system
- Extra skid plates for more underbody protection
The Badlands version steps it up with Bilstein dampers and increased ground clearance, plus added drive modes like Rally and Rock Crawl.
Driving Experience: Tame the Trails
The Badlands Sasquatch is the real deal. Its 250-hp turbocharged engine delivers quick response and powerful low-end torque. It can rocket from 0–60 mph in just 5.9 seconds, compared to 8.2 seconds in the 1.5L model.
Whether you're sliding through sandy trails or crawling over rocky paths, this SUV thrives off-road. Sure, the chunky Goodyear Territory RT tires make it a bit louder on highways—but that’s a small price for this level of off-road prowess.
Upgrades Across the Lineup
Ford didn’t stop with just the Sasquatch package. The 2025 Bronco Sport brings some slick new features to the whole lineup:
- 13.2-inch infotainment screen
- More interior grab handles
- Roof-mounted auxiliary switches for your gear and gadgets
- Black Diamond off-road package for the Big Bend trim ($2570)
Is It Worth the Price?
The Sasquatch versions do push the Bronco Sport over the $40,000 mark, which gets close to the base price of a full-size Bronco. But if you're looking for a compact SUV that can handle real off-road duties without giving up comfort or tech, this is a worthy upgrade. Prefer the look without the mud-slinging? Stick to one of the less rugged trims.
